The work in Haiti is accomplished with the partnership of Rev. Lamartine Liberus. In 2002 he stopped at a fishing village and began to preach the gospel to the people. The picture at the right was their church building in 2003.
Together we rejoiced with the people of that village in the dedication of this new church building in 2005. The church grew so quickly that it had to be extended before it was even completed.
Part of the IGC outreach to Haiti is children's services.
This is the first permanent building in another fishing village which serves as a church, community hall, and shelter for those whose mud houses are destroyed through violence. The gospel of Jesus Christ was never heard in this village until Rev. Lamartine Liberus preached there in 1999. Today they have a growing church as well as a pastor's residence under construction.
